Start With Dignity Workshop

Start With Dignity Workshop

This workshop is an interactive, experiential learning course centered on the inherent dignity of all people. Participants will learn about bringing human rights home to the US and discuss personal experiences in relation to self worth, respect, and empathy. Participants will leave with action steps to get more involved in their communities, tools to facilitate future discussions on dignity and human rights, and a network of organizations and individuals dedicated to creating an inclusive democracy.

Our workshops guide participants through the three phases of understanding human dignity: elevate, claim, and protect. Each section incorporates interactive activities, participant discussion, and tangible take-aways to support participant learning.

Guiding Questions

Elevate:

What is human dignity, who has it, and why does it matter?

Claim:

How can we embrace our own dignity and honor the dignity of others?

Protect:

What action can we take as individuals and communities to protect human dignity?

Unique to You!
